ME-32 South Grand Cheiner Marsh Creation
This is a sources sought notice for the South Grand Chenier Baker Tract Marsh Creation (ME-32) project, which involves dredging material from the Gulf of America to create and nourish approximately 466 acres of marsh in southwest Louisiana. The project includes constructing roughly 20,375 linear feet of earthen containment dike to create new wetland habitat and reduce wave erosion. The estimated construction magnitude exceeds $10,000,000. Performance of services is located south of LA Hwy 82, directly west of Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge in the Mermentau Basin. Interested parties must submit capability statements by 12:00 PM EST on July 16, 2026.
