ME-32 South Grand Cheiner Marsh Creation
The USDA-FPAC BC is seeking interested contractors for the South Grand Chenier Baker Tract Marsh Creation (ME-32) project, which involves creating and nourishing approximately 466 acres of marsh in southwest Louisiana using dredged material. The project includes constructing approximately 20,375 linear feet of earthen containment dike, with the goal of creating new wetland habitat and reducing wave erosion. The estimated construction magnitude exceeds $10,000,000, and a 100% Small Business Set-Aside is possible. Performance of services is located south of LA Hwy 82 and directly west of Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge in southwest Louisiana.
