OCTO-FloX System
This is a requirement for a rugged, field-ready hyperspectral spectrometer and a compatible cosine receptor for measuring solar irradiance. The spectrometer must be equivalent to the OCTO-FloX model from JB Hyperspectral Devices GmbH, with specific performance criteria including high spectral resolution, a 500–900 nm wavelength range, and the ability to sequentially measure at least six vegetative targets. It must be weatherproof (IP67 rated) for variable outdoor environments and have integrated thermal regulation. The cosine receptor must be equivalent to the JB COS model and be fully compatible with the spectrometer. Only minor follow-on work, such as firmware updates, is anticipated.
