The USDA APHIS is seeking all interested sources capable of providing Strychnine Alkaloid N.F Powder. The USDA APHIS is considering the use of a five-year FFP Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 325320 Pesticide And Other Agricultural Chemical Manufacturing. The size standard for this NAICS code is 1150 employees for determination of small business status. Product Service Code is 6850. The specifications for the product are as follows. Specifications: Strychnine Alkaloid N.F. Powder (>/=97%) - EPA CAS Number 57?24?9 Purpose: The Pocatello Supply Depot (PSD) manufactures several bait products used to control nuisance pests. Strychnine is used in several of the pesticides manufactured at the Pocatello Supply Depot. Strychnine baits are used by both APHIS/WS, and private individuals in agriculture. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There is no solicitation currently. This is only a source’s sought notice for market research purposes; responses will be used to determine the procurement method for this requirement.
