The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), National Veterinary Services Laboratories (NVSL), Diagnostics and Biologics (D&B), Center for Veterinary Biologics (CVB), Policy, Evaluation, and Licensing (PEL) Unit has a requirement for poultry isolation units, Plas-Labs Inc. manufacturer item number FIC-30-2/PIU/SP, including non-catalog components consisting of a deeper waste pan that requires new tooling, increased height of escape shield, larger feeder trough, and the wall mounted perching device. This is a brand name requirement, please see the attached brand name justification. The Contractor's unit price shall include all costs associated with furnishing and delivering all materials and for performing all work required under the contract in a complete and acceptable manner. The government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for this requirement. After release, one may download a copy of the solicitation at www.sam.gov. It is the contractor's responsibility to check this website periodically for amendments. Quotes must be submitted to the contracting activity by the date and time indicated in the request for quote.
