SOLE SOURCE POSTING Purchase of an Omega - RT-QuIC / PRION Version - Fluorescence Base The National Wildlife Research Center is developing a new laboratory exclusively dedicated to research of the prion-based Chronic Wasting Disease. One aspect of this work specifically involves a method called Real-Time Quaking-Induced Conversion, or RT-QuIC, which was developed in by the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH). The reference method of this assay specifically requires The Omega - RT-QuIC / PRION Version - Fluorescence Base instrument. To follow the specific method outlined by NIH, and subsequently produced data that is comparable among laboratories, the exact same instrumentation must be used.
