Background The ARS Environmental Microbial and Food Safety Laboratory (EMFSL) in Beltsville, Maryland recently purchased a new high-performance computer server, which needs 18 kW power supply. We require an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and a battery module to provide backup power for this server. The power of the UPS should be at least 20kW to support the server and other components in the server system.
