THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION; THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY This Sources Sought is for the purpose of identifying firms that can meet the following United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Requirements. The USDA ARS facility in Ft Pierce, FL requires a X-Rite Color i7520 Spectrophotometer, or comparable, that meets or exceeds the following: • Must be an upgrade to the current unrepairable equipment X-Rite 5 • Compliant with the citrus industry stands, including CIE No. 15, ASTM D1003 and ISO 7724/1 and approved by the USDA for orange juice color score measurement. • Integrated test tube holder is attached magnetically to minimize risk to the instrument when presenting samples • Results are displayed in CN (Citrus Number) format • Color iQC Software • Can produce reflectance measurements • Internal humidity and temperature sensors to audit trail of changes to measurements • Ability to define the instrument calibration and measurement modes The NAICS Code is 334516 - Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing.
