The USDA/ARS intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c)(1) and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one responsible source, to: Metrohm USA, Inc. 9250 Camden Field Parkway Riverview, FL 33578 Description of Requirement: This requirement will be for the purchase of QTY - 1 Rancimat 892 Oxidative Stability Instrument per the attached Specifications document. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334516; the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is conducting a market survey to identify the availability and interest of qualified Small, Small Disadvantaged, Small Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Historically Underutilized Business Zones, Woman-Owned, and certified 8(a) firms and large businesses as potential sources for a new Rancimat 892 System in accordance with the attached Specifications document for the USDA Mid-West Area in Peoria, IL. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. The Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. The following information is provided to assist the ARS in conducting Market Research to identify potential contractors for this effort: The government is seeking capability statements from businesses capable of providing the Rancimat 892 System. Place of Performance: United States Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Mid-West Area Peoria, IL 61604 Respondents shall furnish sufficient technical information necessary for the Government to conclusively determine that they are capable of meeting the technical requirements identified above. Firms believing they can meet the requirements are encouraged to respond electronically with no less than the following information: Business name, Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), business address, business website, business size status (i.e., SB, VOSB, SDVOSB, HUBZone SB, SDB, WOSB, LB), point of contact name, mailing address (if different from business address), phone number, and email address; Sufficient descriptive literature that unequivocally demonstrates that offered services will meet or exceed above specifications; Descriptive material necessary for the government to determine whether the service offered meets the technical requirements; If a large business, provide if subcontracting opportunities exist for small business concerns.
