This is a BPA Call against the Malheur Fuels Reduction BPA. Units to be treated are located within the HFDS Laycock Project Area, Blue Mountain Ranger District of the Malheur National Forest. Maps are attached in the requisition package. Thirty units totaling 854 acres are to be treated. This project will increase forest health and vigor and reduce hazardous fuels to reduce the threat of catastrophic wildfire within the Wildland Urban Interface by accomplishing the following: 1. Reducing fuel loading by thinning in non-commercial units. 2. Reducing Juniper and Conifers in scablands
