The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) Wildlife Services (WS) intends to issue a base plus four option periods (60 months total) contract for quarterly HVAC control system preventative maintenance inspections and monthly monitoring service. This acquisition will be performed using commercial and simplified acquisition procedures. This procurement will be conducted as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 811310. The intent is to award one fixed price contract. Solicitation number 12639523Q0065 will be posted on or about February 1, 2023. Sources Sought Notice The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) Science & Technology’s Agricultural Quarantine Inspection (AQI) laboratory in Miami, FL intends to issue a base plus two option periods (36 months total) contract for quarterly HVAC control system preventative maintenance inspections and monthly monitoring service. Interested vendors must be able to provide factory-authorized technicians, certified by ABB/Delta Controls and experienced with OSHA and HVAC Safety Standards in order to provide services to currently installed equipment. See attachment for additional details. CAPABILITIES: Please provide a description of your company’s capability to fulfill and adhere to the above. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310. This is not a request for proposals, but instead market research to determine interested vendors prior to issuing a solicitation. A determination by the Government on the method of competing this requirement has not been established. The Government will not award a contract based on this Sources Sought Notice or the information received, nor will it reimburse participants for the information they provide. If you are an interested vendor, please provide the following information: 1) Business name and point of contact; 2) UEI number and CAGE code; and 3) Business Size. Electronic responses are required. Information provided will not be used as a part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
