The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Economic Research Service (ERS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis a firm fixed-price, Purchase Order contract with Census Commodoty Data Limited, 6 Hays Lane London, SE1 2HB GBR, for Agriculture News & Price Reporting Subscription. The Economic Research Service is a Federal agency within the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). ERS provides agricultural economic research and policy services that address issues at the forefront of domestic and global concerns. Within ERS, the Market and Trade Economics Division (MTED) monitors, evaluates, and conducts research on domestic and foreign economic and policy factors affecting agricultural markets and trade. Efficiency and productivity are paramount to the success of any organization. Therefore, personnel within MTED’s Office of the Director (OD) require vendor to provide news and price reporting for global agricultural markets, in a timely fashion normally ahead of competition. The current contract for subscription to AgriCensus database service expires on September 27, 2022. ERS requires a new contract for AgriCensus database service for 30 users/licenses for a base year with two option years to commence September 28, 2022. Period of Performance: Base Year: 9/28/2022 – 9/27/2023 Option Year 1: 9/28/2023 – 9/27/2024 Option Year 2: 9/28/2024 – 9/27/2025 Anticipated Date of Award: 7/15/2022 THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Vendors that believe they can provide the services listed above are invited to submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
