We are looking for a grass seed mix for a total of 30 acres at 25 to 30 lbs. of seed per acre. We intend to use this seed to rehabilitate areas where fire suppression tactics (e.g., bulldozer lines) disturbed the vegetation naturally occurring there. Preferentially, the seed would have a “local” (i.e., regional) origin so that the plants are adapted to a similar climate and thus have a better chance of germinating and surviving post-seeding. We need to purchase these species as a mix, as we do not have the capability of purchasing seed for individual species and mixing the seed together ourselves.
