European Agriculture is an online intelligence service for the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) of the European Union (EU), as well as providing expert coverage of global agricultural policy, legislation, and trade in farm commodities. The Economic Research Service is a Federal agency within the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). ERS provides agricultural economic research and policy services that address issues at the forefront of domestic and global concerns. Within ERS, the Market and Trade Economics Division (MTED) monitors, evaluates, and conducts research on domestic and foreign economic and policy factors affecting agricultural markets and trade. Efficiency and productivity are paramount to the success of any organization. Therefore, personnel within MTED’s Office of the Director (OD) require comprehensive global coverage of food and agricultural policies, trade, WTO issues, data, and summaries of analyses and policies important to U.S. food and agricultural trade—from a European perspective. In depth information and analysis of European agriculture are available daily, covering commodities, policies, and topical issues such as the environment, food safety, ecology, biofuels, climate change, animal disease and welfare, water shortages, weather, and other topics of interest. Current contract ends 7/23/2022 Period of Performance: Base Year: 7/24/2022 – 7/23/2023 Option Year 1: 7/24/2023 – 7/23/2024 Option Year 2: 7/24/2024 – 7/23/2025 Anticipated Date of Award: 7/15/2022 THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. Sources Sought Notification – Economic Research Service (ERS) – Online Subscriptions This is a Sources Sought Announcement issued by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for informational and planning purposes only. This is NOT a solicitation, nor is it an announcement for a forthcoming solicitation. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred in providing a response. The USDA has a requirement for Food and Agriculture Policy/EU Reporting/Subscriptions, in accordance with the attached SOW. Responses to this notification will help to determine the acquisition strategy for any future solicitation.
