The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, National Veterinary Services Laboratories in Ames, intends to issue an RFP to connect Building 21 to the existing NVSL North Campus electrical service. Building 21 is currently connected to a single 13.8kV feeder from the City of Ames. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The NAICS code is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Contractors, with a small business size standard is $16.5 million. This procurement shall be set aside for small business firms only. The solicitation and all other documents related to this procurement will be available on SAM on or about April 11, 2022.
