The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, National Wildlife Research Center, Gainesville, intends to issue an RFP to demolish a half-acre flight pen and replace it with new. Work involves demo and removal of all old material and installation of a new half-acre, even-height pen with the following dimensions: 150’ x 150’ x 25.5’. It’s estimated that 36 galvanized steel poles and “zoomesh” will be required. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The NAICS code is 238990 All Other Specialty Trade Contractors, with a small business size standard is $16.5 million. This procurement shall be set aside for small business firms only. The solicitation and all other documents related to this procurement will be available on SAM on or about March 30, 2022.
