The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) Phoenix Rearing Facility (PRF) in Phoenix, AZ intends to contract for a Multiple Award BPA. Each BPA Call would consist of 28,800 lb. palletized Wheat Bran in support of the Navel Orangeworm (NOW) Program. The Wheat Bran must be packaged in 50 lb. bags and have a minimum of 13% protein, a maximum of 14% moisture, and be free of dermestid pests (e.g. weevils) and compounds toxic to lepidopteran insects (e.g. Bacillus thuringiensis or Bt). Each delivery will consist of 24-30 pallets of ~24 50lb bags, equaling 576 bags or 28,800 lbs. of product per delivery. A certificate of analysis for each lot delivered shall be sent via email, with a copy accompanying each shipment. CAPABILITIES: Please provide a description of your company’s capability to fulfill and adhere to the above. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 311211. This is not a request for proposals, but instead market research to determine interested vendors prior to issuing a solicitation. A determination by the Government on the method of competing this requirement has not been established. The Government will not award a contract based on this Sources Sought Notice or the information received, nor will it reimburse participants for the information they provide. If you are an interested vendor, please provide the following information: 1) Business name and point of contact; 2) DUNS number and CAGE code; and 3) Business Size. Electronic responses are required. Information provided will not be used as a part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
