The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, intends to issue an RFP to furnish and install a new, fully addressable fire alarm system at the Phoenix Rearing Facility (PRF), Phoenix, AZ. PRF is a single-story facility of approximately 68,000 sf. The existing Edwards addressable fire alarm system is backed up by a Cummins/Onan 400KW diesel generator. The system is connected to ASSI Security Company. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The NAICS code is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a small business size standard is $16.5 million. This procurement shall be set aside for small business firms only. The solicitation and all other documents related to this procurement will be available on SAM on or about Feb 15, 2022.
