The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, intends to issue an RFP to rehabilitate an evaporation pond and provide a fully functioning sewage treatment pond system at Moore Air Base, Edinburg, Texas. The pond is approximately 415 ft x 250 ft x 8 ft. Work includes pumping the pond water, solids, and effluent, and disposing of approximately 5,185 cubic yards of sludge on site. After removal of the underlayment liner the pond shall be excavated, leveled, and a new liner installed. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The NAICS code is 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. The small business size standard is $39.5 million. This procurement shall be set aside for small business firms only. The solicitation and all other documents related to this procurement will be available on SAM on or after August 26, 2021.
