This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, FAR Subpart 13.5 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-06. This procurement is set aside for total small business The NAICS code is 332312 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500. Specifications and Delivery Instruction Prefabricated Aluminum Trail Bridges, 5EA: Five (5) prefabricated light to medium-duty aluminum trail bridges for pedestrian and UTV use. The framing and assembly shall be composed of small, light-weight parts and framing, not exceeding 8ft in length, allowing for remote transportation by pack horse or UTV. All bridges shall be 6-ft wide and supplied in spans of 20-ft, two 24-ft, 36-ft, and 40-ft lengths, with a minimum Live Load capacity of 3,000 pounds. The aluminum frame shall be constructed of T6 Temper 6061 Aluminum, with a tensile strength of 42,000 psi (290 MPa); yield strength of 35,000 psi (241 MPa), with anodized aluminum fasteners, and self-drilling, self-tapping deck screws. DELIVERY/ SHIPPING: AGAR 452.247-72 Packing for Domestic Shipment Material shall be packed for shipment in such manner that will insure acceptance by common carriers and safe delivery at destination. Containers and closures shall comply with the interstate Commerce Commission regulations, Uniform Freight Classification Rules, or regulations of other carriers as applicable to the mode of transportation.
