Amendment 0002 (Aug 27, 2021) - The purpose of this amednment is to provide the questions and answers and update attached documents. The responses due date HAS NOT CHANGED as a result of Amendment 0002. The document titled, "Hilo Camera - Questions and Answers" has been attached to this posting. The document, "Attachment 02 - Building Maps and System Drawings" has been replaced by "Attachment 02 - Building Map and System Drawings Rev.1" The document, "Attachment 03 - Equipment Specifications" has been replaced by "Attachment 03 - Equipment Specifications Rev.1" The revised attachments (02 and 03) supercede all previous versions. Amendment 0001 (Aug 17, 21) - The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate information about site visits, questions about the requirement and to extend the responses due date. Site Visit Information: There is no formal site visit scheduled for this requirement. Contractors are not permitted to visit the work site. Prospective contractors are encouraged to submit, in writing, any questions they have about this requirement to the Contracting Officer no later than August 25, 2021. As a result of this amendment, the request for quote due date has been extended to September 3, 2021 at 5:00PM PT. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, FAR Part 13 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The project is the removal of old facilities security surveillance system (9 cameras and Digital Video Recorder [DVR]) and installation of a new facilities security surveillance system for the Institute of Pacific Islands Forestry in Hilo, HI. The new security surveillance system consists of 11 cameras around the perimeter of the building, the network video recorder, data transmission wiring, and control station with other associated parts.
