TPGA is requesting to establish a firm-fixed-price contract with the Georgetown Academy, who will organize training on the World Trade Organization (WTO) on a date agreed between the parties. The three days of the Georgetown University Global Trade Academy will provide that introduction, as well as an in-depth exploration of key areas of WTO law and trade policy and its impact on the objectives of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The aim is to foster a positive learning experience that encourages an exchange of ideas among everyone participating in the Academy. The listing below are the topics that were covered in the 2018-2019 Academy. The list can be tailored to appropriately target the needs of USDA/FAS attendees. Generally, sessions are 1.5-2 hours long, allowing for 3-4 sessions per day.
