The solicitation number is 1030015 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside FAR 19.502-2 Requirements: The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service – 800 Buchanan Street Albany, CA has issued this sources sought announcement in order to determine if there are existing businesses sources capable of providing services for new table grape trellis installation. Location of installation: San Joaquin Valley Agricultural Sciences Center. 9611 S Riverbend Ave Parlier, Ca 93648 - (Western 24 rows of Block 22). Size and specification of plot: The proposed block for trellising is currently bare ground that has been deep ripped and disked flat. There are 24 rows to be installed with a gable-style trellis. Row spacing is 12’ and we will use 6’ between vines within each row. Row lengths are approximately 490’. The block to be trellised is approximately 3.24 acres. Expectations from vendor: The vendor is expected to provide a complete ready-to-use gable trellis system for table grapes. (2) The Contractor shall make available at its offices at all reasonable times the records, materials, and other evidence for examination, audit, or reproduction, until 3 years after final payment under this contract or for any shorter period specified in FAR Subpart 4.7, Contractor Records Retention, of the other clauses of this contract. If this contract is completely or partially terminated, the records relating to the work terminated shall be made available for 3 years after any resulting final termination settlement. Records relating to appeals under the disputes clause or to litigation or the settlement of claims arising under or relating to this contract shall be made available until such appeals, litigation, or claims are finally resolved.
