This is neither a solicitation announcement nor a Request for Quote (RFQ) and it does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Request for a solicitation will not receive a response. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make the appropriate acquisition decision(s) and to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources. The USDA-ARS, Pasture Systems and Watershed Management Research Unit (PWSMMR), University Park, PA requires injection equipment (low-disturbance) for liquid manure injection by drag hose on 84 acres in Centre County, PA in the spring of (April) 2021 and the fall (November) 2021. The research objectives include the use of manure injection to reduce nutrient losses and drag-line application to reduce soil compaction. Requirements specify the application must use a Bazooka Farmstar pull type tool bar drag line, rather than a tractor-pulled or truck mounted tanker. All interested parties who can supply the requested injection equipment services as described above shall provide an email response to this notice and include the following: Company Name, Address, Point of contact, Phone, fax, and email, DUNS number, Cage Code, Tax ID Number, Type of small business, e.g. Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), 8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Small Disadvantaged Business, or Small Business. All responses must be received no later than Wednesday, April 14, 2021, by 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Times (EST) local time.
