The United States Department of Agriculture - Farm Production and Conservation Service is hereby requesting quotes for Appraisal work being performed in the State of New Jersey supporting conservation easements. The United States of America, acting through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service NRCS) is considering purchasing a conservation easement to assist the landowner in protecting, restoring, and enhancing the original hydrology, native vegetation, and natural topography of eligible land, to restore and protect the functions and values of wetlands in the agricultural landscape, help achieve the national goal of no net loss of wetlands, and improve the general environment. These lands may be placed under a conservation easement through ACEP-WRE, HFRP and FPE.
