The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is for market research purposes only. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. The USDA/Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is conducting market research to support the USDA/ARS/SEA, Jamie Whitten Delta States Research Center (JWDSRC), Stoneville, MS location. Seeking contractor to provide: Lease and service contract for repair and maintenance of Reverse Osmosis (RO)/DI Polish Water Systems complete from inlet to outlet. Building 80 boiler room specifications Contractor will lease and maintain the following: One (1) FRERO3, reverse osmosis unit Two (2) UVBB-1, 15 gpm UV lights One (1) Myron-L quality monitor/controller Four (4) 12MB, 2.6 cu ft portable exchange mixed bed tanks One (1) 14C, 3.6 cu ft portable exchange carbon tank Exceptions: holding tank, softener and delivery pumps are original equipment and will be maintained along with the other equipment as far as labor, service and maintenance, but parts or whole replacement will not be covered under agreement and will be priced as needed. Consist of all filters, tanks and salt needed to maintain system. All service calls, labor and materials needed to maintain and repair above equipment will be covered under this agreement with exceptions listed above. Building 2 boiler room service Includes DI tank exchange, RO pre-filter, salt for brine tank, performance check on RO and system quarterly or as needed. All service calls, consumables, labor for repairs needed to maintain system are to be covered under this service agreement. Non-consumables, Membranes, pumps or any system components not listed above or that are generally considered non consumable components will not be covered under this agreement and will be priced out per job. Building 2 growth chambers One (1) FRERO2, reverse osmosis unit One (1) 300C: 1.2 cu ft portable exchange carbon tank One (1) 1 cu ft automatic water softener One (1) 300-gallon storage tank One (1) 2 hp SS delivery pump One (1) 85-gallon volume bladder tank Two (2) 300MB: 1.2 cu ft portable exchange mixed bed tanks One (1) 20” post DI filter bowl w/5-micron filtration Consist of all filters, tanks and salt needed to maintain system. All service calls, labor and materials needed to maintain and repair above equipment will be covered under this agreement with exceptions listed above.
