The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service – Parlier, CA has issued this sources sought announcement in order to determine if there are existing businesses sources capable of providing an Annual Service Contract for Tecan Infinite M1000 Pro multimode microplate reader S/N 1608001833. Companies who have the capabilities and experience necessary should submit a Capabilities Statement demonstrating the company's expertise and experience in relation to the areas specified in this notice. Responses shall include the following information: a. DUNS number b. Company Name c. Company Address d. Type of Company (i.e., large business, etc.) e. Company Point of Contact, Phone and Email Address. Responses must be submitted no later than 07:30am PST on September 06, 2020 via email to Derek Celedon at Derek.Celedon@usda.gov. Background: The USDA/ARS Parlier, Ca has a need for an Annual Service Contract (With Option years) for a Tecan Infinite M1000 Pro multimode microplate reader S/N 1608001833. Minimum Performance Requirements: Must be Tecan certified and trained to perform service and preventive maintenance. One scheduled Preventive Maintenance visit per year including: Cleaning and greasing Wear & tear parts (these typically include, but are not limited to, valves, syringes, tips, tip assemblies, and tubing) Adjustments Instrument specific tests as outlined in the Service Manual Service Report Travel costs and labor Note -Preventive maintenance services on multi-instrument agreements are performed during the same visit On-Site repair in case of instrument failure including: Function check & error analysis Calibrations & adjustments Spare parts (as required) Travel costs and labor Service Report Annual recalibration of your QC tools (QC Pac or Multicheck) Includes calibration certificate NIST Traceable Returned via UPS Ground Shipping Remote Support Remote support hours are Monday through Friday between 08:00 am and 07:00 pm EST Unlimited connections during the contract period Support provided by trained Tecan Technical Support Specialists Update installations to be completed at the time of scheduled preventive maintenance visits; As released for use on the instrument and at the discretion of Tecan; As are required to be installed on the instrument to maintain reliability, usability and/or safety; (Non-Tecan software upgrades may not be included in the coverage of this contract): Essential Hardware, Firmware or Software updates Also included: Hotline support (Mo-Fr between 08:00 am and 07:00 pm EST, excluding statutory holidays) Services performed by Tecan certified field service engineers, technical support engineers or application specialists General response time 48 hours Period of Performance: Base Year: 09/10/2020 – 09/09/2021 Option Year 1: 09/10/2021 – 09/09/2022 Option Year 2: 09/10/2022 – 09/09/2023
