This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Solicitation number 1013539NUSNA is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-07 corrections. North American Classification Code (NAICS) 519130 Internet Publishing and Broadcasting and Web Search Portals is applicable. Interested offerors must submit their proposals. All responses will be evaluated. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract in September 2020 to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable. All proposals shall be submitted via email to althea.paul@usda.gov. As authorized by FAR 5.102, solicitation dissemination is limited to electronic medium, and the USDA will provide no hard copies. The solicitation will only be available for download at no charge at the beta.SAM.gov website. Prospective vendors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications, and shall be registered in the System for Award Management database at http://www.sam.gov. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is searching for firms which can provide Digitizing, Transcribing, Data Management, and Webhosting of preserved plant specimens used for scientific research. See attached Statement Of Objectives As part of its market research, USDA ARS is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there exist an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing the requirement. The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of USDA ARS market research. No Request For Quote (RFQ) exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFQ.
