The scope of work for this requirement is to provide catered meal services, as outlined in Section C, to the CSOSA RSC residents. This is a pre-solicitation notice for the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA) in support of CSOSA's Re-Entry and Sanction Center mandate to provide comprehensive treatment and assessment services to offenders who have been ordered to undergo such treatment by the courts, either as part of a sentence, pre-sentence, or as a condition of probation or parole. The Re-entry and Sanctions Center (RSC) is a residential facility that provides intensive assessments and reintegration programming for high-risk offenders and defendants with extensive substance abuse histories who are under the supervision of the CSOSA. Defendants or offenders referred to the RSC receive evaluation, counseling, treatment readiness, and referral services to other CSOSA treatment facilities. The scope of work for this acquisition is for the Contractor to provide all necessary labor, supervision, supplies, materials, equipment, facilities, and transportation required to provide catered meal service to the CSOSA RSC residents in accordance with the requirements specified in the forthcoming solicitation. The Contractor shall prepare and deliver three (3) nutritionally balanced meals and one evening snack for each resident daily. All meals and evening snacks shall adhere to the guidelines of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the DC Department of Health, except where specifically modified by this contract. The RFQ will be advertised as Full and Open Competition under NAICS code 722310, Food Service Contractors. The resultant award is anticipated to be a total of 5 years (one 12-month base period plus four 12-month option periods). A formal solicitation is tentatively scheduled to be available on or around June 28, 2024.
