The Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA) of the District of Columbia has a requirement to seek culinary art training for 40 supervisees each year. The resultant contract is anticipated to be a total of three years (one base year plus two option years). The culinary art training provider shall deliver a 10 to 15-day, 8 hours per day culinary training course that includes job search preparation and job placement for course participants. (10 days for culinary skills training (at minimum) and up to 5 days for workplace skills and job search support, or 120 hours). The contractor will be required to deliver culinary training, food prep, and safety skills, all food and supplies for the course, the preparation of a meal for potential employers, workplace skill development, and job placement support for participants. The Contractor shall deliver the course four times during each period of performance.

The RFQ will be advertised as Unrestricted under NAICS code 611519, Other Technical and Trade Schools, Culinary Arts Schools. The resultant contract is anticipated to be a total of three years (one base year plus two option years). The culinary art training provider shall deliver a 10 to 15-day, 8 hours per day culinary training course that includes job search preparation and job placement for course participants. (10 days for culinary skills training (at minimum) and up to 5 days for workplace skills and job search support, or 120 hours). The contractor will be required to deliver culinary training, food prep, and safety skills, all food and supplies for the course, the preparation of a meal for potential employers, workplace skill development, and job placement support for participants. The Contractor shall deliver the course four times during each period of performance. Details of the culinary art training will be included in the scope of work in the solicitation. A formal solicitation is tentatively scheduled to be available on or around early-August 2023, at http://www.sam.gov. CSOSA will not issue hard copies of the solicitation. All responsible quoters are invited to submit a response. A quoter whose submission represents the best value to the Government shall be selected for award.
