The objective of this award is to provide Supportive Housing services (up to 180 days) within the District of Columbia to prepare offenders for independent living and improved capacity for employment and housing stability. A successful participant will demonstrate progress towards employment and the ability to contribute financially to the cost of stable housing wherever they may reside. This may include contributing to rent and other housing expenses or placement in an independent living program.
