The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) intends to make an award to American Society for Training and Development (ATD), Incorporated 1640 King St. Ste 300, Alexandria, VA 22314-2743, on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 6.302-1 for the ATD Coaching Training Certificate, Facilitating Virtual Training Certificate, and Producing Virtual Learning Certificate. Supervision Learning and Development (SL&D) has a Coaching program that is part of our established post-commission Professional Development Program that mitigates Examiner turnover and enhances job satisfaction. ATD will provide SL&D Coaching Certificate Training for approximately 26 employees. The Coaching Training will provide best practices via a virtual training courses that includes a set of established guidelines for implementing/executing a successful coaching program; multiple opportunities to practice coaching competencies through role plays, group exercises, and case studies. Reference guides and ready to use templates for gathering data and creating action plans will be provided. COVID-19 mitigation efforts (no in-person examinations or course deliveries) resulted in the need to increase SL&D’s capacity to deliver our courses virtually via WebEx. ATD will provide SL&D with Virtual Training Facilitation Certificate and Virtual Production Certificate Training for approximately 15 employees in each certificate program. The virtual training will teach our staff with best practices in engagement and delivery creating the same learning experience as when facilitating face-to face. The production training will teach our staff best practices and the ability to use virtual platform tools to increase interaction and engagement. The Association for Talent Development (ATD) Coaching Training Certificate focuses on what happens before, during, and after the coaching process. This class delivers ready-to-implement skills with input from ATD’s Competency Study. Our employees will gain the competencies aligned with the coaching area of expertise and achieve the following objectives: Know-how to establish trust and build mutual respect and a safe, supportive environment; Learn skills to assist the coaches in defining current reality and obstacles while developing measurable objectives; Learn processes to apply coaching in a way that meets your needs and those of the client; and Develop a plan to maintain an effective coaching plan with clients and hold them accountable for actions The Facilitating Virtual Training Certificate focuses on what happens before, during, and after a virtual training. With input from ATD’s best practices, our employees will gain the confidence needed to facilitate like a pro. Our employees will gain the competencies aligned with the Facilitating area of expertise and achieve the following objectives: the know-how to maximize learner engagement, energy, and motivation in the online classroom. the ability to use their voice as the most powerful instructional tool and to read nonverbal body language cues. a variety of engagement techniques to celebrate different learning styles. the confidence to manage multiple technical and participant difficulties. a refreshed outlook on how to approach and prepare, what success looks like, and more. The Producing Virtual Learning Certificate focuses on when it comes to live, online learning, organizations know they must make it work, and quickly. Producers make this transition easier, and when utilized properly change the training game. Our employees will gain the competencies aligned with the Producing area of expertise and achieve the following objectives: the ability to use virtual platform tools to increase interaction and engagement. a 4-step disaster recovery process to manage virtual classroom issues. the confidence to support facilitators in the virtual classroom. an action plan and best practices for virtual classroom management. a refreshed outlook on how to approach and prepare, what success looks like, and more. ATD’s Coaching Training Certificate, Facilitating Virtual Training Certificate, and Producing Virtual Learning Certificate limits the availability to a sole source as ATD does not resell these training programs. Only ATD can provide all three of these certifications. ATD is a professional training and talent development organization that is a leads industry; setting training industry best practices. The CFPB participants of the Coaching Certification Training will meeting the coaching and development needs of Examiners in CFPB and ultimately supporting the mission of getting Examiners through the commissioning program successfully. ATD’s competency model and systematic process of coaching aligns with Supervision Learning and Development's current development tools. The Facilitating and Producing Virtual Training are also required for staff to utilize WebEx (only Bureau approved video conference platform) to enhance their engagements. Only this suggested source can furnish all requirements, to the exclusion of other sources as ATD developed and provides certification for these programs.
