The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) hereby gives notice of its intent to award a contract to POLITICO to renew it’s POLITICO Pro subscriptions on a sole source basis. POLITICO Pro provides access to real-time policy news, real-time email alerts, newsletters, and reports. The data provided by these subscriptions is unique to POLITICO Pro and cannot be obtained via any other source. The expected period of performance is for a 12-month base period with four (4) twelve-month option periods. This action is issued pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) whereby the Contracting Officer has determined only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS nor a solicitation of offers. However, the Government will consider written responses from all responsible sources received by 5:00pm ET, June 11, 2021. Written responses must include sufficient information to establish capability to fulfill the requirement. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes for future Market Research requirements. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government anticipates award on or about September 2021. The Government will not be responsible for any costs of preparation in response to this announcement.
