SC Fire System Upgrade
The Architect of the Capitol requires a contractor to upgrade the existing Edwards EST-3 fire alarm system to a fully operational Edwards EST-4 system at the Supreme Court of the United States building in Washington, D.C. The contract is a single-award, firm-fixed-price type with a 360-day period of performance from the award date, plus a potential six-month extension. Work must be performed at 1 First Street, NE, Washington DC 20543, primarily outside normal business hours, including weeknights from 10 PM to 6 AM and Saturdays from 5 AM to 8 PM. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, and services, including installation, programming, testing, training, and a one-year warranty on all new equipment and workmanship. A virtual kick-off meeting is required within 15 days of award, and a post-award site visit must occur within 30 days.
