The American Battle Monument Commission has at Saint-Mihiel American Cemetery an inefficient automatic irrigation installation in its use of water, power, expenditures and lack of sustainability from an environmental standpoint. ABMC’s aim is to preserve the water resources and plans to have carried out a new high-efficiency automatic irrigation installation in accordance with our objectives of water savings, ease of maintenance, reduction of operating costs and sustainability with a lifespan greater than 25 years. As part of this overall upgrading program, this project shall also include the rehabilitation of the concrete water storage tank.
