The PEPFAR Country Coordinator is responsible for the leadership and facilitation of the interagency country team; management and coordination of the strategy and implementation planning; and communication among the U.S. Government (USG) departments and agencies (State Department, USAID, CDC) involved in the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). The incumbent serves as the PEPFAR Coordinator ("the Coordinator") in Haiti, the Embassy-based presence of the Office of Global AIDS Coordinator (OGAC). The Ambassador or his/her designee will provide on-site line management and country-level policy direction to the Coordinator, with an official reporting relationship to OGAC or his/her designee in Washington, DC.
