The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), represented by its Mission in Zambia, is performing market research to identify local Zambian organizations interested in and capable of partnering to support development interventions, including to assess local capacity to implement sector-specific activities. This is a Request for Information (RFI). This is not a request for proposals, proposal abstracts, applications or concept notes, or quotations. USAID/Zambia seeks to build partnerships with influential local partners, including non-governmental and local government partners. USAID/Zambia recognizes that local leadership and local partnerships make our work sustainable and effective, and that through partnerships with local actors, we become more context aware and better partners to Zambians, as we strive to support Zambians and Zambian organizations to advance their ambitions for their country. For these reasons, USAID/Zambia has prioritized local capacity development as critical to achieving its goals. To inform our processes and consider new partnerships, USAID/Zambia is performing market research to identify local Zambian organizations (definition below) interested in and capable of partnering to support development interventions, including to assess local capacity to implement sector-specific activities. Should your organization wish to submit information, please follow the below submission guidelines. Please note that the submission deadline is extended to October 15, 2021, at 3:00 pm Lusaka Time.
