SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE The United States Government, represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development, is requesting concept notes on the attached draft Statement of Objectives (SOO) for the agricultural activity entitled "Feed the Future Bangladesh Agricultural Growth Activity". A finalized SOO will be incorporated into a subsequent Request for Proposals for an offeror's development of a Performance Work Statement, leading to a negotiated Cost Plus Fixed-Fee contract with a five-year period of performance, at a total estimated cost of $19 million. To catalyze systemic changes in the agricultural sector USAID/Bangladesh partnering with the private sector and local actors in Bangladesh aims to provide agricultural development support through a facilitation and inclusive market systems approach. This support will be provided in the form of technical assistance services, and appropriate interventions (which could include sub-grants) through the Feed the Future Bangladesh Agricultural Growth Activity. The implementing partner will accomplish this goal though achieving three objectives: (1) Inclusive and sustainable agriculture-led economic growth through a market systems approach, (2) Strengthened resilience among people and systems and, (3) A well- nourished population, especially women and children. The overall objective is "A prosperous, resilient, and inclusive agricultural sector".
