USAID/Southern Africa has developed this Request for Information (RFI) to provide industry and stakeholders an opportunity to review, comment, and provide suggestions for improvement or clarification of the DRAFT Statement of Work for a planned Scale Up of Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision and Pre- Exposure Prophylaxis Services (Hlokomela) Activity in Lesotho. This RFI may or may not lead to a formal solicitation for potential offerors. This Activity is to reduce HIV incidence and AIDS-related mortality in pursuit of epidemic control in Lesotho. The Activity will focus on the implementation of comprehensive and integrated Early Infant and adolescent/adult voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) services and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) services for adolescent girls and young women, serodiscordant couples, female sex workers, men having sex with men, pregnant and breast feeding women, and other at risk populations using high quality and evidence-based approaches. This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. It is not a Request for Proposal, a Request for Quotation, an Invitation for Bids or a Solicitation. Nor is it an indication that USAID/Southern Africa will proceed with procurement of the items contained in this Notice. This RFI is an opportunity for USAID/Southern Africa to obtain information from interested parties regarding the anticipated Hlokomela Activity. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S. Government to form a binding contract.
