Dear Interested Parties: The United States Government, represented by the U.S Agency for International Development (USAID), through the Mission in Malawi, is in process of designing an Implementing Partners Assessment, Audit and Technical Assistance Activity. Given the critical nature of the activity, this RFI provides USAID/Malawi a link to connect with potential implementers to achieve two things: (1) Receive comments/suggestions on the draft statement of work (SOW). Interested organizations or parties are requested to review the SOW and in response let USAID/Malawi know what is doable and what is not doable as well as what considerations or inclusions should be made to improve the SOW. Response to this point should be not more than 4 pages. (2) Obtain capability statements from interested potential implementers. In responding to this Request for Information (RFI), interested organizations or parties are requested to submit a summarized capability statement highlighting their experience, ability, core competencies or experience and suitability to carry out such work as defined in the SOW. Not more than 2 pages. USAID/Malawi is posting this RFI in order to provide public information to all parties interested in this activity and solicit relevant market related information. Information contained within this RFI is intended solely as a thought-piece; ideas may change significantly during USAID/Malawi’s activity design, internal consultation and approval process. Information collected through this RFI may or may not be used depending on USAID/Malawi’s own assessment and use determination. Eligibility criteria: USAID/Malawi will accept responses from all interested parties; both local (Malawian) and international organizations.
