The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Bureau for Resilience and Food Security (RFS) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) for interested prime and sub contractors to provide comments, input and recommendations on the TAPS planned procurement. The goals of this RFI are to receive insights from industry on barriers and opportunities to diversify partnerships for this mechanism. Through this RFI, USAID aims to: broaden and diversify its partner base at the prime and subcontractor levels; increase competition as a result of greater understanding of the technical scope; generate new partners and new ideas for USAID; and drive better technical solutions and innovative approaches. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes. Respondents will not be notified of the result of the review. The possible Resilience and Food Security (RFS) Technical Administrative and Programmatic Support (TAPS) mechanism will complement existing RFS support by providing the RFS Bureau and other USAID operating units with entry to expert level human resource services and technical assistance in various functions. The services provided will support a wide range of agriculture, food and water system technical areas, centered on the objectives of the Global Food Security Strategy (GFSS), the Global Water Strategy (GWS), the Multisector Nutrition Sector, the USAID Climate Strategy, and the USAID Resilience Strategy. Please see attachments for the Request for Information.
