This is a Justification & Approval (J&A) for an exception to Fair Oportunity for a Total Estimated Cost (TEC) increase of $178,900 and extend end date until June 7, 2021 to the Task Order awarded on June 8, 2015 to Chemonincs International for the Criminal Justice System Strengthening Project (CJSSP) in the Dominican Republic. The exception to the fair oportunity process is in accordance with FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C) which states that " The order must be issued on a sole source basis in the interest of economy and efficiency because it is a logical follow-on to an order already issued under the contract, provided that all awardees were given a fair opportunity to be considered for the original order."
