USAID/Senegal anticipates awarding one Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) Completion-Type Contract as a result of this solicitation covering an estimated period of five (05) years from the date of contract award. Subject to availability of funds, USAID/Senegal estimates the maximum amount of this contract (costs and fee) is in the range of $9,000,000 to $10,000,000 covering a period of performance of five years. However, offerors should not necessarily strive to equal this amount. Cost-effective approaches to achieving the program objectives stated in the government requirement are highly encouraged. The purpose of the WCIS 2 Activity is to enhance resilience, productivity, and nutritional outcomes in fishing and agriculture systems (i.e., farming, livestock, pastoralism), and expand the use of products and services in the face of increased climate uncertainty and weather hazards through scaling up investment in the weather and climate information services (WCIS) value chain.
