The Local Partners and Sustainability Advisor (the Advisor) will be an essential member of the RHAP team and will closely with OHA’s Capacity Building and Partnerships (CBP) Branch, and with the USAID Operating Units (OUs) in the region. The Advisor will report on a day-to-day basis to the RHAP Office Director. S/he will provide leadership for the planning, monitoring and reporting of cohesive country-specific local partner (LP) strategies across Southern Africa that assists teams to achieve maximum results related to PEPFAR targets and host country objectives for HIV and AIDS and transition to local partners. The Advisor is also expected to have technical expertise in:- (i) the strategic planning and design of health and HIV/AIDS financing activities; (ii) government to government (G2G) programming; private sector engagement; (iii) and in coming up with financing solutions for HIV/AIDS and health programs.
