Dear Prospective Offerors, The purpose of this Amendment#1 of the USAID Local Impact Governance Solicitation is to: Provide a copy of the amended Solicitation with updated sections highlighted in yellow; and Provide answers to questions submitted by various prospective offerors. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission to Zambia is seeking proposals to provide technical services for USAID Local Impact Governance Activity as described in the attached Request for Proposals (RFP). This procurement will be conducted under full and open competition procedures pursuant to Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), under which any type of organization is eligible to compete. USAID anticipates the award of a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, Completion-Type Contract for a maximum five (5) year period of performance as a result of this RFP. USAID anticipates that the total estimated cost will range from $15,000,000 to $19,500,000. Although a range is provided, this does not mean that Offerors should necessarily strive to meet the maximum amount estimated. Offerors must propose realistic and reasonable costs for the work described in their proposals. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this solicitation is 541990. The authorized geographic code for the prime Contractor of this procurement is 935.
