REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ISSUANCE DATE: November 16, 2023 CLOSING DATE: December 4, 2023, 4 PM Local Time SUBJECT: Request for Information (RFI) - Architecture and Engineering Oversight Services The United States Government, represented by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in the Republic of Ecuador hereby solicits information from well-established and experienced Ecuadorian architect and engineering firms to provide architecture and engineering (A&E) oversight services to small scale construction and rehabilitation components of several USAID projects. This Request for Information (RFI) is not restricted to any category of organizations and firms. Pursuant to the Local Competition Authority Pilot Program, USAID intends to restrict competition to local entities as defined in ADS 302.mbe - should this RFI result in a formal solicitation. The term local entity is clearly defined in section III of this RFI. The purpose of this RFI is threefold: 1. Elicit feedback on the draft scope of work (section II) and requirements for A&E services in Ecuador. 2. Understand the local market for A&E services in Ecuador. 3. Request capability statements from Ecuadorian firms capable of providing the A&E services presented in the Scope of Work. All submissions must be in Microsoft Word, using Calibri font, size 12.
