PROGRAM NAME: LOGISITICAL SERVICES FOR MINDANAO (LSM) SOLICITATION TYPE: Sources Sought Notice (SSN) ISSUED BY: USAID/PHILIPPINES ISSUANCE DATE: March 11, 2019 DUE DATE: March 31, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. Manila time TO: SMALL BUSINESS INTERESTED PARTIES AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) issued by the USAID/Philippines to identify Small Businesses as well as other organizations that are interested and capable of providing security, transportation and logistics services for US Government visits to Mindanao, Phlippines. The draft Statement of Work (SOW) containing illustrative tasks can be found in Appendix 1. The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to: ? Conduct market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 to gauge the interest and capabilities of small business concerns as well as other organizations to provide services as described in the draft Statement of Work (SOW) titled "Logistics Services in Mindanao (LSM); ? Solicit and obtain input, advice, knowledge, and best practices from organizations interested in participating providing the services to USAID; ? USAID accepts and appreciates feedback from other potential partners who are not classified as a small business. If other than a small business, please indicate the type of business and submit information according to the instructions in Appendix 2. SSN Submission: Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are due at the date stated above. All interested parties and organizations are welcome and encouraged to submit responses to the SSN. Submission via email is required; phone calls or hard copy delivery will not be accepted. Please provide one (1) electronic copy of your response in Microsoft Word format as a single email attachment. Please number pages consecutively beginning with Page 1. The total length of the response to this SSN should not be longer than five (5) pages. Submission shall use only Times New Roman 12-point font and be single-spaced with one inch margins on the electronic equivalent of 8.5 x 11 inch paper. Respondents are asked to use the response template found in Appendix 2. Respondents are asked to copy and paste Appendix 2 into a new document, provide their responses in that document, and email that document with the file name saved. Submissions must be in English. USAID is not seeking technical or cost proposals at this time. Please do not submit a full proposal as these will not be reviewed and will be discarded. Please do not include any additional attachments such as applications or resumes with your submission as they too will be discarded. Responses to this Notice are strictly voluntary and USAID will NOT reimburse respondents for the preparation of information submitted in response to this Notice. Submissions in response to this Notice will NOT be returned and respondents will NOT be notified of the results of the review. Respondents may however receive a confirmation of receipt of the response. By responding to this Notice, there will be no advantage to any entity in any subsequent procurement. This Notice does NOT restrict the Government's acquisition approach on a future solicitation.
