Dear Prospective Offerors: The United States Government, represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), is seeking offers from qualified resident-hire U.S. citizens to provide personal services under contract as described in this solicitation. Vietnam has achieved impressive growth over the past 20 years with an average annual GDP growth rate of more than 6 percent. However, maintaining this growth rate will become more difficult over time as capacity constraints go unaddressed. The Economic Competitiveness Program Management Specialist will support USAID's growing and dynamic private sector focused portfolio that advances the USG Indo-Pacific vision and supports a strong, prosperous and independent Vietnam. The portfolio includes trade facilitation, private sector/entrepreneurship promotion, and good governance. The Economic Competitiveness Program Management Specialist is located within the Economic Growth and Governance (EG2) team of the USAID/Vietnam Mission. The EG2 office consists of 4 Locally Employed Staff and 2 USDH (1 position, deputy director, currently vacant).
