This Sources Sought Notice is a part of the Government market research effort to determine the capability, interest and availability of women-owned small businesses, as per FAR 19.2, that can provide high quality data and evidence, as well as plan, design and conduct rigorous monitoring and evaluation of development activities, in order to improve the achievement and sustainability of USAID/Nepal's development objectives. This activity will also assist USAID/Nepal and its Implementing Partners in building their capacity to develop effective Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) systems, use data and evidence for decision making, and apply principles of adaptive management through the use of sustainable approaches such as collaborating, learning and adapting (CLA). This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is not an invitation for bid, request for proposal or other solicitation; and in no way obligates the US Agency for International Development (USAID) to award a contract. The sole intent is to conduct market research to determine the agency’s acquisition strategy and to determine the capability of women-owned small businesses to design and implement both quantitative and qualitative evaluations and assessments, as well as provide expert analysis and technical assistance to USAID/Nepal’s programs. Interested and qualified women-owned small businesses should submit a tailored capability statement to kathmanduoaaexchange@usaid.gov with the subject title “ Sources Sought Notice: USAID/Nepal MEL Activity”, no later than Monday, February 03, 2020.
