USAID/Jordan is seeking proposals from qualified Jordanian Architect-Engineer (A-E) Consulting Firms interested in providing technical assistance, oversight and monitoring and evaluation services to all Government of Jordan owned and operated water utilities/entities required to implement the activity “USAID/Jordan MESC III.” The utilities/entities consist of the Water Authority of Jordan, Jordan Valley Authority, Yarmouk Water Company, Miyahuna, and Aqaba Water Company. The United States Agency for International Development in Jordan (USAID/Jordan), intends to issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a five-year, cost plus fixed fee completion type contract for the Jordan Management and Engineering Service Contract. The Jordan Management and Engineering Service Contract will provide technical assistance, oversight and monitoring and evaluation services to all Government of Jordan owned water utilities/entities namely: Water Authority of Jordan, Jordan Valley Authority, Yarmouk Water Company, Miyahuna, and Aqaba Water Company, to support implementation of the Non Revenue Water reduction project. USAID intends to limit competition for this procurement to local Architect-Engineering firms classified by the Jordanian Tender Department of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing as Class 1A in the field of water and wastewater. The solicitation will be released in approximately two weeks from the date of posting this synopsis, and will be made available electronically upon its release to https://beta.sam.gov/. Prospective Offerors are advised that this procurement is subject to internal USAID approvals and the availability of funds. This notice in no way obligates the US Government to issue a solicitation and/or award a contract. This notice satisfies the synopsis requirement in FAR 5.2. If a solicitation is issued, all necessary information will be supplied at the time it is posted at beta.sam.gov. Questions/requests for information will not be responded to until RFQ issuance. Interested parties are advised to periodically monitor the aforementioned website and solicitation number for updates concerning this procurement.
