The United States Agency for International Development, Jordan (USAID/Jordan) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a five-year, combination award consisting of Cost-Plus Fixed Fee-Completion and a single award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type (hybrid CPFF-IDIQ) contract for a project titled “USAID/Jordan Himaya Activity.” Attached is the draft Statement of Work for the USAID/Jordan Himaya Activity. The information contained in this pre-solicitation notice is released to the public for informational purposes only and is subject to change. USAID is not seeking responses or feedback for this presolicitation notice and will not answer any questions. The overall goal for the USAID/Jordan Himaya Activity is to enhance the availability and quality of essential service and protection for survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) in Jordan. USAID intends to use full and open competition for this procurement in accordance with FAR Part 15. The solicitation will be released in approximately one month from the date of posting this synopsis and will be made available electronically upon its release to sam.gov. Prospective Offerors are advised that this procurement is subject to internal USAID approvals and the availability of funds. Interested parties are advised that this is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), and it in no way obligates USAID to issue an RFP or award a contract. This is a new requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code contemplated for this action is 541990. This notice satisfies the synopsis requirement in FAR 5.2. If a solicitation is issued, all necessary information will be supplied at the time it is posted at sam.gov. Questions/requests for information will not be responded to until RFP issuance. Interested parties are advised to periodically monitor the aforementioned website and solicitation number for updates concerning this procurement.
